Katie: Did you hang it like I told you to? (Gasps) what the hell Taylor, it looks like the house came up from the messier side.

Taylor: can you look for my jersey while you yell at me? I know your time is valuable.

Katie: the three of you have no one to blame but yourselves. Let me remind you that two Saturdays ago, I tried to stop this very moment from happening.

(flashback)

Katie: Anna-Kat you need to do really well on this science project.

Anna-Kat: (rudely) relax nerd it’s not due for two weeks.

Katie: (sighs)

OK.

coloring.

sorry.

Oliver: I’m going to Cooper’s.

Katie: you need to put a jacket on. You don’t want to get sick.

Oliver: (rudely) oh yeah did they cover that in your fourth year of medical school? (Chuckles, opens and closes the door and walks away)

Katie: (groans)

Katie: you need to clean your room, and hang your Jersey before you lose it.

Taylor: Mom, if my messy room bothers you, here’s a solution, Don’t go in it. (gasps) problem solver. (walks away)

Katie: (groans)

(flashback ends)

Katie: you should have listened to me in the first place, and the ten more times I told you after that. Greg?

Greg: your mother’s right. When she tells you to do something you should do it immediately.

Katie: thank you.

Greg: (nodding your welcome)

Katie: by the way I’m done with my invitations. I assumed you’ve set up the printer.

Greg: no but

Katie: seriously Greg? You’ve only had 2 years to set it up.

Greg: I’m going to set it up you don’t have to nag.

Katie: I don’t nag Greg. Stop making those dumb faces. If I were a nag, which I’m not, that’s because you all make me one.

(everyone laughs)

Katie: laugh it up. But he only reason you’re calling for mommy right now is that none of you ever listen to me.

Taylor: that’s not true.

Katie: Anna-Kat, what did I just say?

Anna-Kat: (stops for 5 seconds) (as Katie) GREG

Taylor: no it’s like this. (As Katie) GREG

(everyone laughs again)

Katie: that’s it. You know what? I’m tired of you people. I have giving you my body, my life and my pottery studio. That’s right. Your bedroom was going to be my pottery studio. I’m turning off the mom switch.

Taylor: what about my Jersey?

Anna-Kat: what about my model?

Oliver: what about my cold sweats? MOM

Katie: no mom here. Just a childless woman who doesn’t know about my whimsical pinch pots. (Walks away angrily)

Greg: were are you going?

Katie: (gets the keys) out. And by the time I get back that printer better be working. (Walks away to the car and drives to the store)

Taylor: (crying because she can’t find her volleyball jersey)

Anna-Kat: (knocks on Taylor’s door)

Taylor: I can’t find my volleyball jersey now it’s gonna ruin my life (continues crying)

Anna-Kat: hey, Taylor it’s ok. (Touches Taylor’s back and rubs it)

Taylor: I know but if I don’t find it enough everything’s gonna be my fault. (Crying)

Taylor: Thank you. I got teary eyed because I can’t find it.

Anna-Kat: uh-huh. She was crying so I talked to her about it and hugged her.

Katie: That is very sweet about what you did to your oldest sister. I’m proud of you for comforting her when she was crying. You just earned a tally.
